We exist both to help fund and support the various activities of Mary Hare, allowing the charity to continue its vital work with deaf children and young people, and also to provide a high quality cultural and community resource for the people of Newbury. Our programme has a strong mix of professional artists, musicians, bands, comedians and theatre companies all year round, and also play host to a large number of local community groups, dance schools, meetings, lectures and training sessions for a very diverse range of clients across our various spaces. The role reports in the first instance to the Front of House Coordinator for scheduling purposes and thereafter to the Director of Arlington Arts Main Duties and Responsibilities: To ensure that presentation of events is consistent and carries out to the highest possible standards To supervise Casual Technical staff Sound operation, setup & plan for live music events Help and assist companies to the stage for their event, including load-ins and get-outs Assist with seating and staging layout changes as required To undertake, if required, all manner of set refurbishment, painting, cleaning etc, and to assist with the maintenance of equipment within the Theatre To work safely at all times, adhering to Health and Safety at Work procedures To able to work at heights when required.
