A leading manufacturer supplying is looking for a Quality Engineer with manufacturing experience to work at their flagship site in Liverpool. The role offers excellent scope for further development and growth within a great industry. This is a progressive business, valuing investment into processes, staff, training & development across all departments.
Role Description
1. Develop and maintain a robust Quality Management System
2. Support New Product Introduction projects along with Production Trails
3. Carry out audits to ISO9001 Standards
4. Work closely with customers, suppliers, and associated teams to ensure compliance
5. Generate quality and process related documentation such as PFMEA, control plans, work instructions
6. Oversee changes in engineering processes from a quality control stance
7. Implement lean manufacturing principles and identify continuous improvement opportunities
Skills and Qualifications
* Knowledge of Quality Management System Principles and Techniques
* Understanding of International & British Quality Standards, ISO 9001
* Proficiency with quality tools such as FMEA, PPAP, Process flows, Root cause investigations, Lean, and Six Sigma tools & techniques
* Internal Audit experience to relevant standards
