A Private Client Tax Manager is sought to manage, develop, and grow the tax department within a prominent professional services firm. The role is primarily based near Maidstone, encompassing a broad range of tax-related responsibilities.
Responsibilities
* Oversee and manage a diverse portfolio of tax clients
* Ensure timely and accurate submission of tax returns
* Provide high-quality tax advisory services to clients (70% advisory/30% compliance)
* Develop and maintain strong client relationships
* Identify and act on cross-selling opportunities within the firm
* Mentor junior staff within the practice
* Stay updated on changing tax legislation and its potential impact
* Contribute to business development initiatives within the professional services industry
Profile / Qualifications
* A relevant degree, and professional qualifications in tax (CTA preferred)
* Proven experience in managing a tax portfolio
* Strong tax advisory and compliance skills
* Excellent client relationship management skills
* Strong leadership and team management abilities
* Good understanding of the professional services industry
Job Offer
