The Internal Legal Recruiter will be responsible for sourcing, attracting, and hiring top legal talent to support the organization’s strategic goals. This role will partner closely with legal leadership and HR to identify hiring needs, manage recruitment processes, and ensure a seamless candidate experience.
- Key Responsibilities
 1. Develop and execute recruitment strategies for legal roles (e.g., attorneys, paralegals, legal operations).
 2. Maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future openings.
 3. Use LinkedIn, legal job boards, law school networks, and referrals to source candidates.
 4. Build relationships with passive candidates and maintain engagement.
 5. Manage end-to-end recruitment lifecycle: screening, interviewing, offer negotiation, and onboarding.
 6. Coordinate with hiring managers to define role requirements and selection criteria.
 7. Partner with HR and legal leadership to forecast hiring needs and align recruitment efforts.
 8. Ensure recruitment practices comply with employment laws and internal policies.
 9. Maintain accurate records and provide regular hiring metrics and reports.
- Qualifications/Previous work experience
 1. Proven experience in legal recruitment, either in-house or at a legal search firm.
 2. Strong understanding of legal roles, qualifications, and market dynamics.
 3. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
 4. Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment tools.
- Preferred Skills
 1. Experience recruiting for corporate legal departments or law firms.
 2. Knowledge of diversity hiring practices and inclusive recruitment strategies.
 3. Ability to manage multiple searches and stakeholders simultaneously
