In order to develop and expand the capabilities of SAFRAN Engineering Services in the UK, we are looking to recruit Method Engineer to perform a technical audit and create DVI-PPAP documentation for Composites products. The Method Engineer shall work within the Method Team / Quality Assurance Team and potentially other Teams. The individual will work in close contact with the customer and stakeholders across the business. Key communication and engagement to maintain customer satisfaction and confidence is critical. The role will fully based onsite at Burnley, Lancashire. Responsibilities: Conduct a technical audit to identify existing gaps Scope the amount of work to ensure all documentation meets the necessary standard Propose solutions to close gaps Understand how to use PLM / EBoM / SAP to retrieve information Understand the DVI-PPAP process in order to create DVI-PPAP documentation Provide support to ensure procedures used comply with Safran, NADCAP and Customer requirements Liaise with the internal Team to resolve any issues identified in order to release the parts for use in production Provide support in ensuring the relevant items of the Industrial Validation checklist are correct Participate and provide input for requirement updates or equipment modifications as required Requirements 2-3 years experience of working within a method / quality engineer role within a manufacturing environment Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and specifications Manual inspection experience Familiarity with relevant industry regulations and standards (AS9102 essential, AS9103 and AS9145 not essential but good to be) Knowledge of quality control procedures, tools, and methodologies Ability to compare specification and CoC Motivated and excellent team player Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams Strong organizational and time management skills Be located in the UK and can provide evidence of the right to work in the UK Benefits Early finish on a Friday (1pm) Onsite canteen
