Who are RECCo?

We are an independent, non-profit organisation responsible for the Retail Energy Code — a key part of how the GB retail energy market is regulated.

But we don’t just manage rules. We look ahead, not just react, helping the market change in the right way. We deliver secure digital services, clear governance, and practical solutions that protect consumers, support innovation, and help the energy system move towards net zero.

Our Data, Technology and Transformation Team supports this mission by delivering improvements to RECCo’s services, systems and ways of working, as well as leading projects that support and improve how the retail energy market operates. The team works across digital delivery, data and change to help ensure the Retail Energy Code is implemented effectively, securely and in line with regulatory objectives.

This role will provide hands-on support to the Data, Technology and Transformation team, while structured development is offered for someone at an early stage in their career or returning to work following a career break.

  • Assisting with impact assessments and traceability of requirements to delivery outputs
  • Supporting testing activities (e.g. UAT coordination, test case preparation, results tracking)
  • Assisting Business Analysts in analysing business problems, documenting current and future state processes, and identifying opportunities for improvement

Development Opportunity

This is a structured development role designed to:

  • Build practical experience across project delivery, governance and stakeholder management
