Physiotherapist
The Blackheath Hospital, London, is part of Circle Health Group. This full‑time, permanent role requires 37.5 hours per week with flexible shift patterns. Salary up to £36,800 per year, depending on experience, training and qualification.
Overview
We are looking for a Physiotherapist to join our Physiotherapy department. The position is ideal for a newly qualified professional or someone with less than 2 years’ experience.
Duties of This Role Include
* Assess, diagnose and manage patients presenting with a variety of musculoskeletal, neurological, respiratory, orthopaedic, or post‑surgical conditions, depending on setting.
* Formulate individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings and patient goals.
* Use a range of therapeutic techniques, exercise programmes, manual therapy and patient education to promote recovery and prevent further injury or deterioration.
* Collaborate closely with consultants, nurses, occupational therapists and other allied health professionals to ensure coordinated care.
* Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, ward rounds and discharge planning as appropriate.
* Refer patients to other services where required (e.g., hydrotherapy, pain management, or community rehabilitation).
* Manage your own caseload efficiently, working flexibly across inpatient and/or outpatient settings as required.
Applicants Should Meet The Following Criteria
* BSc (Hons) or MSc in Physiotherapy (or equivalent qualification).
* HCPC registration as a Physiotherapist.
* Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy.
* Strong understanding of clinical reasoning, assessment techniques and evidence‑based practice.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
* Time management and organisational skills to manage a varied caseload.
