The role will also play a key part in improving finance processes and supporting the rollout of a new finance system, making it ideal for someone who enjoys getting involved, taking ownership, and helping drive positive change. Location: North Manchester
Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 + Study Support
Main Responsibilities:
Managing the purchase ledger, including supplier reconciliations and payment runs
Maintaining the cashbook, completing bank reconciliations, and processing expenses
Supporting payroll, including timesheet processing and cost allocations
Assisting with month-end close activities
Contributing to finance system and process improvements
Ad-hoc tasks contributing to your growth providing you with exposure
Ideal candidate:
Previous experience in a finance assistant role
Comfortable working with transactional finance processes
Proactive, hands-on, and keen to learn
Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills
Confident to drive processes forward and think of better/new ways working
Confident using finance systems and Excel
