What you'll do
1. Provide general club orientation to guests upon arrival, such as the location and use of locker rooms, gym, and pool
2. Welcome and acknowledge each guest and member with a smile, eye contact, and a friendly welcome, using their name when possible
3. Carry out regular health & safety checks, pool testing, sauna and steam room checks
4. Process new members sign-ups
5. Maintain cleanliness of workstation, gym, locker rooms, poolside, sauna, and steam room
6. Dispose of rubbish and dirty linens in the correct area
7. Clean and stock supplies and amenities in the locker rooms
8. Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the manager, support with first aid if required
9. Monitor the pool area and ensure users are safe and adhering to rules
10. Anticipate and address guests’ service needs
What we're looking for
* A warm, people-oriented demeanor
* A team-first attitude
* A gift for paying attention to the smallest details
* A pool plant, pool lifeguard, and/or first aid qualification are desirable, although we support your training to obtain these qualifications
* An interest in the fitness industry
