The Best Connection is recruiting a Quality Assurance Technician to join a quality team within a food manufacturing environment. You'll ensure product safety, legality, and quality from raw materials through to finished goods while supporting compliance and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
* Conduct quality checks across raw materials, production, and finished products
* Monitor HACCP, GMP, hygiene, CCPs, and traceability
* Investigate and report non-conformances
* Support audits, inspections, and compliance with customer/BRC standards
* Work closely with production to maintain quality standards

Requirements
* Experience in food manufacturing (QA/QC preferred)
* Knowledge of HACCP and food safety systems
* Strong attention to detail and communication skills
* Able to work independently and as part of a team
* Basic IT skills
This job is 0700-1900 Sunday - Thursday.
Pay per hour is £14.42 to start and upon completing a 6 month probation period, this increases to £16.24.
