Job Description
Shift:
1. 5ON 3OFF.
Salary:
2. £41,769 per annum
Your job duties will include but not limited to the following.
3. Delivering Palletised General Haulage goods nationwide.
4. Ensure correct and thorough completion of paperwork
5. Observe and adhere to company rules and procedures, including all aspects of health, safety and hygiene
6. Maintain a good working knowledge of operations within the transport department
7. Maintain a high standard of behaviour and appearance
8. Effectively manage own working time in line with the Road Transport Directive
9. Adhere to tachograph rules and regulations at all times
10. Ensure daily vehicle checks are completed in line with company procedure
11. Responsible for unit and trailer, including temperature checks
12. Make deliveries to customers’ premises, acting in a professional manner at all times
Qualifications
13. Minimum of 6 months Class 1 experience.
14. Knowledge of Road Transport Directive and current drivers’ hours.
15. Excellent attention to detail
16. Ability to work without direct supervision
17. Adaptable and methodical approach to work/ training
18. Conscientious and reliable
19. Professional and approachable
