Job Description
We is actively looking to engage with an experienced NEC Supervisor to aid in the delivery of large-scale construction/manufacturing programmes in Sheffield.
Responsibilities
* Undertake NEC Supervisor services as defined in the NEC3 ECC, reporting into the Project Leads for each element of the Recap Programme.
* Reports into the Project Lead appropriate to the project being worked upon.
* Have a regular presence on site, providing independent scrutiny of the works, ensuring the correct materials are used and to the correct standards.
* Have foresight, to enable the identification of issues/potential issues and prevent them from occurring.
* Mange any defects that do arise.
* Witness any testing.
* Attend progress meetings.
* Issue communications as per the requirements of the contract.
* Work in conjunction with the Project Manager, making them aware of any issues observed.
* Maintain contemporary records of all observations.
Qualifications
1. NEC Supervisor or NEC Project Manager Accreditation
2. Relevant construction degree or equivalent qualification.
3. Relevant construction experience and a good understanding of construction methods.
4. Ability to demonstrate a commitment to service excellence, be committed to delivering to agreed quality standards.
