We are looking for an M&E Shift Engineer who wants to work in a diverse role where no two days are the same. Due to an increase in upcoming projects, there is now a need for an M&E Shift Engineer to join this highly successful and forward-thinking organisation. As the M&E Shift Engineer, you will provide the delivery of both planned and reactive FM maintenance services. The M&E Shift Engineer, will be responsible for: * Carry out routine Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and scheduled planned maintenance in line with task timelines. * Perform reactive electrical repairs and respond to faults as required on site. * Assist in the development and implementation of operational strategies to ensure critical service continuity, particularly for fixed line telecoms infrastructure. * Ensure all work is conducted in accordance with Health & Safety regulations and meets relevant statutory compliance standards. * Complete and maintain accurate documentation for all maintenance and repair tasks. * Support the delivery of both mechanical and electrical (M&E) services, along with general fabric maintenance and some soft services tasks. * Provide assistance with general building maintenance when required. * Work collaboratively with mobile engineers and other team members to support site operations and continuity. To be successful for this M&E Shift Engineer role you must have: * A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role within a commercial environment. * Completed an electrical apprenticeship (preferred). * Hold relevant City & Guilds qualifications in Electrical Engineering. * Strong working knowledge of Health & Safety practices and statutory compliance requirements. * Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and complete maintenance records accurately. * Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively within a wider maintenance team. * A flexible and proactive attitude towards additional responsibilities, including general maintenance support beyond core electrical tasks.
