Role Overview
The IT Administrator manages and maintains the organization’s daily computer systems, networks, and software. This role focuses on ensuring technology runs smoothly, providing technical support to staff, and protecting company data.
Key Responsibilities
* User Support: Set up new laptops, manage user accounts, and resolve daily technical issues.
* System Maintenance: Install software updates, maintain hardware, and monitor server health.
* Network Admin: Manage office Wi-Fi, internet connectivity, firewalls, and secure remote VPN access.
* Data Security: Handle routine data backups, test recovery plans, and manage antivirus systems.
* Asset Management: Track hardware inventory, order tech supplies, and update IT setup manuals.
Required Skills
* Operating Systems: Experience with Windows 10/11, Windows Server, macOS, or Linux.
* Cloud Tools: Familiarity with Microsoft 365 Admin Center.
* Networking: Good understanding of standard protocols like TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
* Communication: Ability to explain technical problems clearly to non-technical staff.
