Remote Pharmacy Technician
GP Surgery Experience Required

We are looking for an experienced Pharmacy Technician to join a GP practice team on a remote basis. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified pharmacy technician with previous GP surgery experience to support our clinicians and patients in delivering safe, efficient, and high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities (not exhaustive)
* Support medicines optimisation within the practice
* Process and reconcile repeat prescriptions
* Conduct medication reviews under clinical supervision
* Liaise with patients, GPs, and community pharmacies to resolve medication queries
* Assist with audits, medication safety, and prescribing compliance
* Ensure accurate record-keeping within S1 or EMIS systems
* Work within the scope of CPPE training and professional guidelines
Essential Requirements
* Registered Pharmacy Technician with a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification
* Completion of, or commitment to, relevant CPPE training
* Proven GP surgery experience (essential)
* Proficiency with S1 or EMIS clinical systems
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* Ability to work independently, remotely, and as part of a wider practice team
Desirable Skills
* Experience in medicines optimisation projects
* Knowledge of prescribing workflows in general practice
* Confidence in managing high volumes of repeat prescription requests
