An established manufacturer in Keighley is recruiting a Production Supervisor to join its Assembly operation. This is a permanent Production Supervisor role offering a four-day working week, long weekends, and long-term stability.
Due to continued growth and new product introduction, this business requires a hands-on Production Supervisor with a strong Mechanical and/or Electrical Assembly background. This role would suit an experienced Team Leader, Assembly Supervisor, or Manufacturing Supervisor stepping into a Production Supervisor position.
Production Supervisor Responsibilities:
* Lead day-to-day Assembly operations and meet production targets
* Resolve technical, quality, and production issues on the shopfloor
* Drive Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and Continuous Improvement
* Support new product introduction and process improvements
* Monitor scrap, analyse data, and reduce waste
* Plan workloads to meet customer delivery requirements
Production Supervisor Requirements:
* 3+ years' experience in a Supervisory or Team Leader role
* Technical background in Mechanical and/or Electrical Assembly
* Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications
* Experience leading teams of 10+ in manufacturing
* Knowledge of Lean, 5S, and Root Cause Analysis
* Good IT and communication skills
Production Supervisor Package:
* £30,000-£32,000 salary DOE
* Monday to Thursday, 07:00-16:45 (37 hours)
