You’ll play a pivotal role in the commercial success of projects, overseeing contract management, financial performance, and client relationships. Key responsibilities: * Administer and manage contracts (NEC, JCT or similar), including variations, extensions, and formal correspondence with Tier 1 contractors * Prepare, review, and submit accurate applications for payment in line with contractual terms * Monitor and report on project budgets, cashflow, and overall financial performance to senior leadership * Lead credit control processes, ensuring timely client payments and managing outstanding balances * Support project teams with cost analysis, risk management, and commercial decision-making * Provide commercial input during tenders and subcontractor negotiations * Maintain accurate commercial records and documentation to support financial and contractual compliance * Liaise effectively with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to safeguard commercial interests Requirements * Proven experience as a Commercial Manager/Quantity Surveyor * Background in joinery, fit-out, or construction subcontracting * Strong contract knowledge (NEC, JCT) and commercial acumen * Skilled in payment applications, cashflow, and financial reporting * Confident communicator with excellent negotiation skills * Able to manage multiple projects and work independently Benefits What’s in it for you? * Salary - £60,000-£70,000 (DOE) Company performance based bonus * Impact – Be the commercial lead on high-profile, design-led projects * Growth – Join a business with strong momentum and a clear need for your expertise * Support – Work in a collaborative, professional environment that values your input
