Technical Manager – Fire and Security (ADT)
What you will do
Support the delivery of excellent customer experience through technical support to sales and operational teams. Lead the adoption of best practices across the UK&I business to ensure continuous improvement and high-quality service, supporting a zero-harm culture.

How you will do it
* Drive quality and technical competence through collaboration and engagement.
* Lead and coordinate teams on process improvements and technical bulletins.
* Provide technical support and guidance to field staff, identifying issues and root causes.
* Conduct site reviews and technical audits to ensure standards and customer satisfaction.
* Support internal audits and maintain accreditations like ISO 9001.
* Assist with pre-installation support regarding software and graphics packages.
* Develop and maintain a nationwide skills matrix through training and assessments.
* Support training development for new products and operational excellence.
* Collaborate on the recruitment, development, and assessment of apprentices.
* Develop competencies for sales and operations to comply with regulations and improve service.
* Work with Learning and Development on technical training delivery.
* Support the Engineer Development Review process.
* Liaise with IT for software support and development.
* Provide input on product deficiencies to Marketing and Purchasing.
* Promote Zero Harm culture through meetings, audits, safety talks, and incident support.
What we look for
* Experience in the security industry.
* IOSH Managing Safely certification required.
* Ability to problem-solve in an electro-technical environment.
* Knowledge of Intruder, Fire, CCTV, Access Control, and EAS systems (wired and radio).
* Experience in Quality and H&S auditing, with site experience such as SSSTS (CITB).
* Excellent communication skills at senior management and customer levels.
* Proactive, innovative, and able to make decisions quickly.
