Homes2Inspire are looking for a enthusiastic, caring and motivated individual to join Belinda Ferrison House. Homes2Inspire specialise in working with young people and families, and have comprehensive experience in providing specialist, welfare and educational based support, interventions and guidance to children and young people in various settings.
Belinda Ferrison House offers Care-leavers from the ages of 17-25 years, the support and guidance to enable a successful transition into independent living with the care and encouragement of a dedicated staffing team. This staffing team within Belinda Ferrison House will assess the needs of the young people and assist them with the skills required to live independently, including managing finances, building relationships, and domestic skills.
As a residential provision this is a 52 week/24-hour service. You will be required to work a shift pattern which includes Day and Night shifts. The shift pattern consists of the following shifts; Day: 8am – 8pm, Night: 8pm – 8am
You will be required to:
1. Work directly with the young people in supporting them to gain the skills to carry out practical tasks, as well as supporting them in achieving positive health and wellbeing outcomes.
2. Deliver workshops, support sessions, and keywork sessions on multiple topics.
3. To ensure the protection and safeguard the wellbeing of the young people in our care.
4. Ensure the safety and wellbeing of young people based at provision, carrying out daily health and safety checks and monitoring visitors.
5. Provide a full administrative service so that the needs of the functional/departmental team are met.
6. Carry out cleaning tasks and minor maintenance as required.
