We are looking to recruit an Apprentice Admin Production Co–ordinator to join our team.
Working closely with the manufacturing manager and his team, the successful candidate will start as a trainee, and over time will grow into the role and ultimately play a key role in ensuring that the production of bespoke engineered products in our busy workshop runs smoothly and efficiently.
Duties (following completion of apprenticeship):
* Seek to continuously improve ERP (Epicor) planning and material processes and master data, including improving Bills of Materials and Bills of Operations to reflect current/actual production techniques and timings.
* Using the ERP system (Epicor), analyse and understand customer and production demand.
* Analyse, report and have a pro–active approach to changes in demand.
* Schedule and progress chase external works for plating, anodising, heat treatment etc.
* Have an overview of short and medium–term production schedules.
* Monitor the closing of completed Jobs and ensuring that any production feedback is fed back into the ERP system.
* Take an active role in company stock takes.
* Produce SOPs for all aspects of the business
* Collate and interpret performance related data.
