Management Accountant
Salary: £40,000.00 - £48,000 per annum plus annual bonus, pension and other Veolia benefits
Hours: 40 hours per week
Location: Hybrid - Falkirk, FK2 7XU
Grade: 5.2
We’re looking for a committed finance professional who can lead financial reporting and controls while working closely with operational teams. You will help the organization drive ecological transformation and support sustainable growth.

What you'll be doing:
Provide leadership in all aspects of financial reporting and control as part of the Finance team, working closely with the operational business.
* Work with operational management to deliver accurate financial information
* Produce and analyse monthly management accounts
* Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and review account certifications for direct reports to withstand audit scrutiny
* Prepare forecasts, budgets and Long Term Plans in conjunction with the General Manager and Finance Manager
* Prepare statutory accounts and liaise with group auditors
* Control and report capital expenditure
* Analyse operational data and KPIs
* Conduct post‑investment reviews and analyse long‑term financial performance
* Work with clients on contract performance and adapt to changes in service
* Ensure all contracts and depots within your remit comply with group financial policies and procedures
* Lead the finance mobilisation of new contracts under your remit
What we’re looking for:
* A fully qualified ACCA or CIMA Accountant with relevant experience
* Good working knowledge of spreadsheets
* Broad system skills, preferably experience with Workday and SAP
* Strong presentation and communication skills
* Strategic planning and leadership skills
