Primary responsibilities:
1. Facilitate crisis management calls at a Sub-Bronze (on request), Bronze and Silver level with stakeholders from across our global locations and business areas. This includes periods of time ‘on call’ outside of normal business hours, on a rota basis.
2. Deliver Post Incident Reviews with a range of business, technology and third party stakeholders including capturing actions, minutes, writing reports and tracking actions to completion.
3. Support in the creation of a scenario library and playbooks to cover a range of severe but plausible scenarios aligned to operational risk events
4. Lead on the design and delivery of scenario testing and exercising across Bronze and Silver crisis management team plans, business continuity plans, Important Business Services and other types of testing from time to time.
5. Support the delivery of scenario testing and resilience analysis with Operational and Enterprise Risk teams.
6. Support on threat modelling and horizon scanning for internal/external scenarios that could impact M&G’s operational resilience.
7. Support for DR testing horizon scanning considerations and regulatory engagement
8. Operate emergency notification tooling.
Knowledge & Skills:
9. Confident and effective at advising and briefing at all levels, including senior stakeholders
10. Ability to work independently within a defined remit, managing schedule and objectives with minimal oversight
11. Strong communication skills displayed through confident interpersonal and presentation abilities
12. Ability to work within a wider team and collaborate effectively across teams, functions and geographies
13. Strong written and oral communication skills
Experience:
14. Experience in crisis management, including leading stakeholder response calls
15. Experience in testing and exercising
16. Experience with facilitating post incident reviews
17. Experience of working in the Financial Sector
18. Experience using crisis management tooling and interest in supporting the maintenance of tools, supporting data sets (preferable)
19. Awareness of ISO22301 and ISO22316 standards
Educational Qualification:
20. Business Continuity Institute certification(s) (preferred but not necessary)
