Class 1 Personnel are currently recruiting Class 2 Drivers for a leading Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain client based in Hounslow, Feltham TW6 3RT.
The Role:
As a Class 2 Driver, you will play a key role in the smooth running of air cargo operations. Duties will include:
Driving AIRSIDE, operating an 18T Truck to and from aircraft to collect and offload cargo, mail, and courier.
Collecting and delivering cargo to and from airside warehouses and mail sheds.
Strictly AIRSIDE driving only - no over-the-road haulage, just airfield operations.This role is based at Hounslow, Feltham TW6 3RT within the Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain industry.
Candidate Requirements:
To be successful in this Class 2 Driver role, you will need to demonstrate:
A full manual driving licence with either:
HGV Class 1 or Class 2 (minimum 1 year experience), or
Proven airfreight/airside cargo driving experience (18T Truck).
A good level of physical fitness (essential).
Ability to understand and follow instructions accurately.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to provide a full 5-year employment history (ideally 1-5 roles since 2020).
HMRC Letter or PDF (via HMRC app).
Clean DBS - no criminal record.
Ideally a clean driving licence (up to 6 points acceptable).
UK right to work & proof of National Insurance.
Willingness to undergo a UK Criminal Record Check.Shift Pattern & Pay Rates:
Temp to Perm - 4 on / 2 off shift pattern (8.5 hours per day), mixture of earlies and lates.
Pay Rates (effective from April 1, 2025):
Standard + Shift Allowance: £15.31/hour
Overtime (Mon-Fri): £21.55/hour
Overtime (Sat-Sun): £28.74/hour
Bank Holidays: £28.74/hour
Basic Pay Rate: £14.37/hour
Overtime applies only after 37.5 hours/week.The Company:
