Overview

The Role
As a Project Support Engineer, you will act as the engine of the Projects team, taking ownership of delegated tasks to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to high‑quality standards. You will provide hands‑on support to Project Managers, helping them focus on high‑level project management while you keep the day‑to‑day activities on track.
Key Responsibilities
* Updating and maintaining project timing plans and schedules
* Chasing suppliers, engineers, and internal teams to meet deadlines
* Supporting budgeting and cost‑tracking activities
* Liaising with Engineering, Purchasing, and Production teams
* Arranging site visits, meetings, and logistics
* Attending internal and client meetings and following up on actions
* Supporting document control, drawing release, and project documentation
* Visiting sites when required to ensure smooth project delivery
* Communicating effectively with stakeholders at all levels
Qualifications
* Engineering or technical experience (mechanical/machinery preferred)
* Proactive, positive, and can‑do attitude; no task is too small
* Strong organisational and time management skills
* Confident communicator, able to liaise with engineers, suppliers, and clients
* Team player who thrives in a collaborative, fast‑paced environment
* Willingness to get involved wherever needed, including site visits
