Overview
We are establishing a Transformation Portfolio Management Office (PMO) to centralise the portfolio that drives change, transformation, and continuous improvement. We are looking for two Benefits and Efficiencies Analysts to join the team. The PMO team shapes and optimises project Portfolios, ensures strategic alignment, enhances decision-making, and provides evidence to manage risk across change and transformation.
This is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in change and transformation with development opportunities and strong peer support. You will analyse data from PMO colleagues and project/programme managers across the portfolio, help set standards for benefits and value management, and support embedding them. You will help teams identify, value, and validate project benefits.
The Team
You will join the Portfolio Management Office (PMO), part of the Transformation Team within the Strategy, Transformation and Assurance (STA) directorate. The PMO supports change, transformation and continuous improvement across the business. STA fosters inclusive, supportive cultures and uses evidence and innovation to influence policy and delivery.
Experience/Skills Required
* Strong analytical skills with proven experience as a Benefits Analyst, Efficiencies Analyst, or Business Analyst.
* Experience building and maintaining dashboards or reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or advanced Excel).
* Ability to work collaboratively across organisational boundaries and build constructive relationships.
* Clear communication skills, able to explain complex analysis simply to non-technical audiences.
* Self-motivation and adaptability; comfortable working independently as well as in a team.
* Experience producing guidance, toolkits or frameworks to support colleagues.
* Ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds and encourage consideration of diversity in work.
