Are you an experienced, passionate and innovative educator with a genuine enthusiasm for enhancing teaching and learning through both Computing and the use of Educational Technology?

Following the continued growth of our education team and in light of sustained expansion, as well as the introduction of new offerings for supported schools, we are actively seeking to once again expand our team. This expansion solidifies our commitment to assisting schools in the effective use of Computing, cross-curricular Educational Technology, and Online Safety.

If you are an individual who has demonstrated leadership in Computing and/or IT within an educational setting, possesses a comprehensive understanding of the advantages in the integrated use of technology for teaching and learning, and values the improvement of work-life balance, we encourage you to apply. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The scope of responsibilities for this position is broad and encompasses supporting schools with their use of EdTech and STEM across various stages of implementation, levels of adoption, and pathways. However, some key responsibilities are listed below:


Deliver Computing/EdTech and/or STEM workshops for school pupils.

Contribute to the generation and delivery of our on-going webinar CPD offer for staff within the schools

we support.

Communicate and engage with students, teachers, and parents to keep them informed about digital technology

updates and opportunities.

Conduct training and development sessions for school staff members at all levels within our supported schools.

Lead or co-lead public-facing events, such as those for Computing & IT Subject Leaders, Senior Leaders,

and Governors.

Actively research and explore ways of enhancing teaching and learning through technology

Collaborate closely across the education team to integrate technology adoption into supported schools.

Offer consultancy and strategic guidance to schools on implementing educational technology and cloud

computing, tailored to their unique needs and preferences.

Support in the running of technology focused holiday provision.

Demonstrated aptitude for working with children.

Possession of relevant and appropriate qualifications.

Exceptional teaching skills and a role model who strives for excellence while setting high expectations in all that

they do.

Demonstrates high levels of personal and professional integrity, exercising discretion and maintaining

confidentiality.

Exhibits a warm and personable demeanour that inspires confidence in children, staff, and parents alike.

Familiar and comfortable in using a range of EdTech platforms and end-user devices including Chromebooks

and iPads.

Maintains high standards of personal appearance, presentation, and attention to detail.

Able to communicate effectively and sensitively, both verbally and in writing, to a range of audiences.

Shows initiative in driving change and development.

Willingness to work diligently and go above and beyond expectations.

Embraces a positive, enthusiastic, and energetic outlook on life, with a "can-do" attitude and dedication to the

schools supported by eduthing.

Holds high expectations for student and staff achievement, personal growth, and conduct.

The responsibilities listed in this job description are subject to modification by the Chief Education Officer,

with mutual agreement, to reflect or anticipate changes and developments in the role.

A full and clean driving licence will be required to travel to/from supported schools.

SHORTLISTING: Monday 13th October

INTERVIEWS: Thursday 16th October

LOCATION: Surrey and surrounding areas

Shortlisted candidates will take part in an in-person interview, teaching a session of which focus content will be confirmed upon shortlisting, followed by an interview. Interviews will take place at one of our supported schools and involve a member of their senior leadership team. Appointments are subject to a DBS check and suitable references.
