We are excited to be recruiting a senior private client solicitor with strong technical knowledge and proven management and leadership experience to step into a newly created role designed to bridge the gap between Partner and junior fee‑earners. This is a rare opportunity to lead a team of three, shape the strategic direction of the department, and work on a varied, high‑quality caseload.
If you are a senior private client solicitor with strong technical knowledge across Wills, LPAs, trusts, estate planning and estate administration and you bring proven management and leadership experience, this role offers the perfect platform to make a meaningful impact.
The Role
Working closely with a Partner, you will take day‑to‑day responsibility for supervising, mentoring and developing solicitors, trainees and paralegals. As a senior private client solicitor with strong technical knowledge and proven management and leadership experience, you will ensure exceptional client service, drive best practice, and contribute to the strategic growth of the department.
What you will be doing
* Managing a varied caseload including Wills, LPAs, trusts, estate planning and estate administration
* Leading, supervising and developing a team of three
* Providing strategic oversight and supporting departmental leadership
* Liaising with financial advisers and accountants to deliver holistic solutions
* Ensuring compliance with SRA principles, risk management and regulatory requirements
* Contributing to business development, networking and client relationship growth

* A track record of team management and mentoring

* STEP qualification (or willingness to work towards it)
