An excellent opportunity has arisen to work for our established client in Reading to join as a Maintenance Technician on a temporary basis and to start as soon as possible.
* Location: Reading
* Working Hours: 7AM - 3PM & 9AM - 6PM (alternating shifts)
* Job Type: Temporary position, 4-6 weeks initially with the potential to extend
* Salary: Up to £14.55 per hour
As the Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for:
* Cleaning, basic plumbing, replacing light bulbs, basic carpentry, painting / decorating, ground maintenance, escorting contractors on site, pool maintenance.
* Ensuring gates and buildings are locked / unlocked at the start and end of the day.
* Set alarm systems and respond to emergency call outs.
* Conducting building checks.
* Maintaining general presentation of the grounds.

The successful Maintenance Technician will have the following related skills / experience:
* Experience in a similar position.
* Plumbing, carpentry, and decorating skills.
* Manual handling.
* Good planning and organisational skills.
