Why you should join us … We are looking for a Training and Education Manager to design and oversee all learning and development programs within our Global Travel Retail teams for one of the world's largest producers of spirits and beers DIAGEO. As a Training and Education Manager, you will work closely with key Diageo and S&C stakeholders to develop all learning materials and continuously enhance the global GTR training program, ensuring employees worldwide gain the skills and knowledge needed to perform effectively and drive organisational success. You will be part of a dynamic team, managed and employed by Sweet&Chilli, as our key link to enable our Brand Ambassador (BA) Sales Teams, Regional Program Management (RPM) teams to exceed KPIS’s on behalf of our client Diageo, and the Duty-Free retailers. Your responsibilities… Training Strategy and Stakeholder Engagement Collaborate with internal stakeholders to shape and evolve the overall training strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and support brand education and BA enablement. Training Needs Analysis and Evaluation Conduct comprehensive skills gap analyses across teams and regions to inform targeted training solutions, and evaluate program effectiveness through participant feedback, performance metrics, and post-training assessments. Program Development and Regional Delivery Lead the design and rollout of global and localised training programs, working closely with eight RPM’s to ensure effective execution in line with client marketing plans. Instructional Content Creation Design and continuously refine training materials—including e-learning, workshops, and blended formats—ensuring content meets evolving business needs and supports skill development. People Development and Leadership Coaching Develop both functional and leadership capabilities within regional teams through coaching and performance-focused initiatives that drive excellence and team growth. Change Management and Communication Support organisational change initiatives through effective training, communication strategies, and stakeholder alignment to ensure smooth adoption of new processes, tools, or structures. Compliance and Standardisation Ensure training programs adhere to regional legal, compliance, and industry-specific standards while maintaining consistency in learning quality and brand messaging globally. About you… Industry experience In depth understanding of the liquor industry, competitors, and shoppers. Previous experience in Global Travel Retail being highly advantageous Strategic Thinking Ability to develop and align training strategies with overall business goals. Vision to foresee future skills needs and trends in learning and development. Strong Communication and Stakeholder Management Exceptional skills in collaborating and influencing across diverse teams and senior leadership. Skilled at managing expectations and building partnerships globally. Training Design and Delivery Expertise Deep knowledge of instructional design principles, including blended learning and e-learning development. Experience managing training programs at a global scale with localization. Leadership and Coaching Abilities Proven experience in developing leadership capabilities and managing regional teams. Ability to coach managers and trainers to maximize their potential and impact. Technological and Office Savvy Comfortable adopting new tools to innovate training delivery and tracking. Cultural Sensitivity and Adaptability Ability to work effectively across different cultures and geographies. Flexibility to adapt training content and delivery to diverse regional needs.
