The role:
1. Assisting in the management of the Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Management Systems.
2. Formulating and drafting of risk assessments, safe work practices and COSHH assessments.
3. Facilitating continuous improvement in HSEQ performance in all aspects of the business.
4. Assisting with projects and product development including design and testing.
5. Management and maintenance of all HSEQ documentation and systems in line BS EN ISO 9001, current legislation, and regulatory guidance.
6. Provide all staff with HSEQ support, advice, and information.
7. Participate in accident and near miss reporting and investigation as well as formulating and implementing corrective and preventative actions.
8. Constructing and delivering training, toolbox talks and inductions.
9. Conducting HSEQ internal audits, communicating outcomes then following through to resolution.
The person will need:
10. To be a good communicator, both verbally and electronically and the ability to work efficiently as part of a team to set deadlines.
11. High standard of literary, numeracy and IT skills are vital.
12. Previous experience in a H&S or Quality department would be advantageous.
Working hours will be Monday - Thursday 8.30am-5.15pm and Friday 8.30am-4.15pm with a 45 minute unpaid lunch break.
