Data Engineer - AI (UK Remote)
We're working with a mission-driven SaaS business. Their platform supports the full lifecycle of complex, data-intensive cases and plays a meaningful role in improving outcomes across a highly regulated sector.
They're looking for a Data Engineer to design, build and maintain the data infrastructure underpinning their AI capabilities. You'll work closely with AI and MLOps engineers to enable secure, scalable and compliant data pipelines that support model training, evaluation and continuous improvement.
What you'll be doing
* Building and maintaining robust ETL/ELT pipelines for large, complex datasets
* Designing scalable data platforms (lakes, warehouses, streaming) to support AI workloads
* Implementing data validation, observability and monitoring to ensure quality and reliability
* Embedding privacy, security and compliance (GDPR / regulated data standards) by design
* Collaborating cross-functionally to enable reproducible, production-grade AI systems
