Day-to-day of the role:
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate environmental considerations into project planning and design.
* Lead the preparation and coordination of Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and client expectations.
* Conduct environmental assessments and studies to identify potential impacts and develop appropriate mitigation measures.
* Build and maintain relationships with regulatory authorities, stakeholders, and clients to ensure adherence to environmental regulations and standards.
* Provide expert advice on environmental policies, regulations, and best practices.
* Monitor and report on the implementation of environmental management plans and compliance with EIA conditions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
* Full membership of an appropriate institute (e.g., Institute of Environmental Management & Assessment (IEMA) or equivalent) or willingness to register.
* Extensive professional experience in environmental consulting.
* Demonstrated ability to manage and deliver complex projects across various sectors.
* Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and sustainability practices.
