An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our highly successful client in Cardiff as Commercial Contracts Manager.
We are seeking someone with strong experience in pricing, finance, contract management and management of tenders/bids; to drive the company's continued expansion into future services and to deliver continued success to existing customers.
The company are a highly successful IT delivery company with over 30 years' experience delivering IT solutions to a diverse range of customers on a national scale.
What you'll be doing:
Lead on pricing / tendering for new and existing business and co-ordinate the bid process; draft contracts and addenda from first stage through to conclusion of the bid process.
Support the Commercial Director with contract management and governance of new and existing relationships.
Create pricing models that provide detailed insight for profitable business proposals.
Liaise internally with senior account management and business development team at all stages during the tender and contract processes.
Draft contracts and addenda from first stage through to conclusion of the bid process.
Lead the delivery of new and existing commercial agreements to balance risk and to ensure that all T&Cs are incorporated into all associated collateral.
Analysis of contract profitability to ensure that budget expectations, margin improvement and revenue growth is achieved.
Prepare internal and external reports and provide a source of expertise in carrying out market research.What we're looking for:
Excellent communication skills to successfully build and maintain relationships.
Highly developed analytical, numerical and evaluation skills - ability to turn the challenges faced by customers into deliverable services.
Knowledge of drafting contracts with an understanding of the legal implications of contracts & contract documentation.
Experience of pricing for commercial projects/contracts within the IT field.
Strong experience of delivering successful tender & bids activities.
High level of commercial acumen and a drive to always improve processes.
Ability to create pricing models to ensure contract profitability and sustainability.
Experience within an IT managed service provider environment. Salary & Benefits:
Salary will be between 50-55k depending on experience.
