Our client is looking for a passionate and experienced Deputy Nursery Manager to support the day-to-day leadership of a welcoming, child-centred early years setting. This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Nursery Practitioner, Room Leader, or Deputy Nursery Manager ready to step into a leadership role within a nurturing and forward-thinking environment. Working closely with the Nursery Manager, the successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality childcare, ensuring compliance with EYFS and Ofsted standards, and supporting a team dedicated to helping children thrive.
Qualifications
* Level 3 Early Years qualification (minimum)
* Experience in a senior role such as Room Leader, Senior Practitioner, or Deputy Nursery Manager
* Strong understanding of EYFS and Ofsted requirements
* Confident leadership skills and ability to support a team
* Good communication and organisational ability
Responsibilities
* Support the Nursery Manager with the day-to-day running of the nursery
* Lead the setting in the Manager's absence
* Maintain EYFS standards, safeguarding, and compliance
* Support, guide, and supervise staff across rooms
* Monitor practice, observations, and children's development
* Build relationships with parents and external professionals
