Pay Rate: £95 – £115 per day (depending on experience)

GSL Education are currently seeking dynamic and knowledgeable Subject Specialists to support schools in Chesterfield, starting from September 2025. This role is ideal for educators with a strong background in a specific subject area who are ready to make a meaningful impact on student progress.
As a Subject Specialist, you will bring in-depth knowledge and expertise in your chosen subject to support teaching and learning across Key Stages.
As a Subject Specialist, your responsibilities will include:
* Delivering high-quality lessons in your area of expertise.
* Supporting pupils across Key Stages with subject-specific interventions and curriculum support.
* Collaborating with teachers to enhance subject delivery and outcomes.
* Providing targeted support to students who need additional help.
* Maintaining a positive and focused learning environment.
To be a Subject Specialist, candidates will require:
* A strong academic background in a specific subject area (e.g., Maths, Science, English, Humanities, etc.).
* Experience working in a secondary school or tutoring environment.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage students of varying abilities.
* A flexible, proactive, and professional approach to classroom support.
* An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
* A full CV with a clear 10-year history, with any gaps explained.
