M & E contractor working on civil engineering and Water/ Reservoir Projects
he Project Manager will be involved in managing M & E & civil engineering works from initial inception to final completion on Water Farmework projects
The Project Manager will provide engineering and management support to the site team and liaise between the principal designer and the site team.
The Project Manager will be required to manage developing the scopes of works and developing site documents.
Responsibilities of the Project Manager
* Responsible for the successful project delivery of the project
* Develop and implement detailed programmes and schedules
* Identify the quality expectations and record in the Quality Plan.
* Develop and implement site establishment and ensure the efficient and effective management of site.
* Implement all statutory regulatory and company requirements for managing Health and Safety.
* Implement all statutory, regulatory and company requirements for environmental and waste management.
* Encourage and support innovation/value engineering throughout the design phase.
* Ensure measures are established for the timely delivery of design information.
* Contribute into supply chain selection process and provide regular feedback and manage supply chain performance.
* Management of scope change notices in accordance with the contract requirements (e.g., early warnings and compensation notices).
* To be successful in the role you will be an effective communicator with a positive, passionate, and engaging approach.
* You will have good writing and analytical skills and have solid experience in taking full responsibility and leadership for M&E disciplines.
* Complete all internal/external reporting
* Responsibility for site level budget control and commercial performance.
* Accountability for all projects from inception to completion.
Experience Required
* HNC minimum in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
* A minimum of five years’ experience in a design and build project delivery role within civil engineering / water industry
Qualifications Required
* NEC 3 knowledge and experience
* SMSTS
* CSCS
