Overview
General Manager - The Applecart (Oxford) - Beefeater. Salary: £42,000-£47,500 (Opportunity to earn up to 50% annual bonus). This role reports to the Regional Operations Manager and focuses on building a winning team and delivering the best service to guests.
We are seeking a high-volume, guest-facing leader with an understanding of delivering in a branded operation. The role involves leading the restaurant to achieve its business goals through effective people, cost, and guest-experience management.
Responsibilities
* Be responsible for recruiting, onboarding and inducting new team members.
* Inspire, develop and lead your management and team members, ensuring great retention.
* Maximise revenue opportunities through analysing sales figures and effective forecasting.
* Effectively manage all controllable costs and site P&L.
* Support the Regional Operations Manager in delivering long-term business goals.
* Drive individual high performance through regular one-to-ones.
* Have an eye for detail and thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
* Show passion for the brand and ensure the team are knowledgeable and confident in delivering the values.
* Ensure all health and safety measures are met to the highest standard.
* Demonstrate a clear passion for achieving high guest measures.
* Utilise guest feedback to maximise opportunities and drive sales and revenue; manage labour and cost margins effectively.
* Champion change and lead the team through innovation and improvements.
* From a preferred background, come from a high-volume, guest-facing leadership role within a branded operation.
Qualifications and requirements
* Experience in a high-volume, guest-facing leadership role with branded operations.
* Strong leadership, coaching and management skills; ability to recruit, onboard and develop teams.
* Proven ability to analyse sales data, forecast effectively and manage P&L.
* Commitment to health and safety standards and guest satisfaction metrics.
* Passion for the brand and delivering strong guest experiences.
