VACANCY: Contract Sales Estimator
Shift Pattern : Monday - Friday 7am/8am - 4pm/5pm.
LOCATION: Rotherham, S60 (Close to Meadowhall, Sheffield)

MTL Advanced is a Yorkshire-based, engineering and manufacturing company operating from a 390,000 sq. ft. facility in Rotherham.
We have invested in an extensive range of technology and equipment and provide services to a range of OEM's from leading industries including defence, security, construction, quarrying, recycling and rail.
Our inhouse capabilities include, large format Laser Cutting and Press Braking, CNC Precision Machining, Fabrication & Welding, Shot Blasting, Painting and final Assembly.
Continued expansion across the business has created an opportunity for an experienced Contract Sales Estimator to join our team to work on a diverse portfolio of prestigious engineering projects.
You will play a key role in ensuring projects are correctly priced, delivered on time, and within budget. The role will involve working closely with Engineers, Project Managers and Clients to oversee the estimation process from initial enquiry to contract negotiation.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
* Working from customer drawings to produce detailed quotations
* Producing accurate and detailed manufacturing cost estimates generated from detailed client manufacturing drawings
* Create full routing information including labour and material costing
* Liaise with sub-contract suppliers as required
* Input all information into the businesses MRP system in order to produce quotations
* Monitoring enquiries within the company and speaking directly with customers
ABOUT YOU:
· Sales experience in a similar engineering / manufacturing environment
· Highly literate and numerate, commercially astute
· Confidence to deal with decision makers and customers directly
· Proficient in using CRM and CAD software and other sales tools
· A flexible approach to be able to adapt to changing and challenging requirements
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels
· Ability to remain focused on Quality and consistently reiterate its importance to others
· Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to generate innovative concepts and ideas

o Monday-Thursday
o Friday alternate Fridays)
