Teaching Personnel is working with inclusive and nurturing Primary and SEN schools in NG18 who are seeking SEN Teaching Assistants to join their teams from September.
Role Overview:
* Work 1:1 or in small groups with pupils with SEND, including Autism, ADHD, speech & language needs, and learning difficulties
* Provide in-class support and tailored interventions
* Support the social, emotional and academic progress of children
* Collaborate with teachers, therapists and parents to ensure pupil development
Ideal Candidates Will Have:
* Experience working with children or young people with additional needs
* Patience, empathy and resilience in challenging situations
* A background in care, early years, psychology or education is advantageous
* A strong desire to help pupils reach their potential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
