Sales Administrator – Powerhouse Lighting
We are looking for a dedicated Sales Administrator to join our distribution business in the Boroughbridge area. The role supports the sales team with administration, customer support and order processing. Salary is £28,000–£31,000 per year, plus great benefits and a flexible hybrid working arrangement (2 days home based after initial training).
Responsibilities
* Provide organisation and administration support to the sales team.
* Deal with customer enquiries, maintain CRM, and pass leads to sales colleagues.
* Produce customer quotations, update price lists and process order requests accurately.
* Monitor order progress with internal stakeholders, keeping customers informed of delivery status.
* Check stock availability and ensure delivery needs are communicated correctly.
* Provide accurate information on sales pipelines and forecasts, including lifetime value of accounts.
* Maintain sufficient information for delivery teams.
* Manage a small customer account base, maximising sales opportunities.
Requirements & Skills
* Administration experience, ideally in order management or sales support.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Excellent organisational skills and keen eye for detail.
* Basic / intermediate Excel skills.
