Business Development Manager - Rail (Light Rail)
We are seeking an experienced sales professional to join our growing Rail team focused on UK Light Rail. The role involves working from home with travel to Light Rail clients across the UK as needed.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement sales strategies for the UK Light Rail market.
* Drive sales growth and profitability in the Light Rail sector.
* Engage with stakeholders in local authorities, transport operators, and government bodies.
* Maintain high customer satisfaction and advocacy.
* Collaborate on bids and proposals to develop customer-focused solutions.
* Manage existing Light Rail accounts.
* Utilize data to generate leads and promote group solutions and capabilities.
* Maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipelines using Salesforce and Sales Plans.
Candidate Profile:
Ideal candidates will have prior experience as a Business Development or Sales Manager within the UK Light Rail sector, with:
* Experience in account management and sales to the Light Rail market.
* A proactive approach to new business development.
* Strong understanding of market and procurement processes.
* Ability to build and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders.
* Experience analyzing data for solutions development.
* Excellent interpersonal skills across all levels.
* Collaboration skills with internal teams to gather relevant information.
