Due to the relocation of the current post-holder, The Gilberd School is seeking to appoint a committed and forward-thinking Curriculum Leader to lead our successful and well-established Science Department.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced leader or an ambitious practitioner ready to take the next step. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping the strategic direction of the department and ensuring the continued delivery of high-quality science education across the school.
The Role
Working closely with Senior Leaders and fellow Curriculum Leaders, the Curriculum Leader of Science will contribute to whole-school improvement and lead a team of skilled and dedicated specialists. Building on a strong foundation, you will guide the department through forthcoming curriculum developments, maintaining its excellent reputation and consistently high outcomes.
