The post holder will manage therapeutic activities for clients within an adult acute admissions ward as part of a multidisciplinary team. With support from nursing staff and ward managers, they will develop and maintain a therapeutic activities timetable for the ward and individual clients, ensuring each client has a personalized therapeutic activities plan. The post involves working regularly without direct supervision from a registered nurse.
This role requires PVG Scheme membership/record. If not currently a PVG member for the relevant regulatory group (child and/or adult), an application must be made to Disclosure Scotland and deemed satisfactory before starting work.
