About the Role:
We are seeking a reliable and adaptable Secondary Cover Supervisor to support A school environment by covering a variety of classes across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. This role requires someone who is confident in delivering lessons based on provided plans and can effectively manage classroom behaviour to ensure a positive learning atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise and support students across a range of subjects and year groups (KS3 & KS4)
* Follow detailed lesson plans with confidence and clarity
* Manage classroom behaviour according to established behaviour plans
* Work collaboratively with teaching staff and senior leaders to provide a consistent learning environment
* Provide additional support and guidance where necessary to maintain engagement and discipline
What We’re Looking For:
* Strong adaptability to work across different subjects and classes
* Confidence in following and delivering lesson plans
* Ability to manage challenging behaviour with professionalism and patience
* A proactive and supportive approach to working within a team
* Previous experience in a supervisory or educational role is an advantage, but not essential
