Senior Powertrain Engineer / Near Worthing / £45,000 per annumJoin our client's dynamic team, supporting the ongoing development of high-performance gasoline engines for premium supercar OEMs. This role is key in maintaining excellent product quality and performance standards through assembly, test, and warranty processes.
Location / HoursYou'll be based close to Worthing, 5 days per week; Monday - Friday 40 hours a week. You'll need to be able to drive there or be on close public transport links. Free parking available.Senior Powertrain Engineer Responsibilities
* Provide engineering insight into engine part and build issues during production, including end-of-line testing.
* Conduct root cause analysis and resolution of production, client, warranty, and supply chain issues using structured problem-solving methods.
* Support continuous improvement projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
* Facilitate engineering changes through the release process for suppliers and clients.
* Perform hands-on tear-down and investigation activities as needed.
* Cover engineering lead role when required.
Senior Powertrain Engineer Skills
1. Strong understanding of internal combustion engines.
2. Familiarity with engine testing and development processes is beneficial (Dyno testing background would be ideal)
