Join our team as an Engineer / Project Engineer (Structural Analysis ) and become a trusted partner to our clients providing :

* Verification services & failure investigations
Structural analysis for technical safety assessments.
Youll play a key role in projects that demand both precision and creativity while also developing your skills as a consultant and technical specialist.

Responsibilities
* Carry-out a range of technical projects and analyses with some supervision from our more experienced staff in order to meet the clients needs and expectationsPa
* Parrticipate in technical delivery and client relationship management
* Support business development activities with a range of new and existing clients
* Integrate and engage with our positive team culture with adherence to Elements core values care integrity and progress.
Skills / Qualifications
* Have a bachelors degree (grade 2.1 or above) masters degree or PhD or in a relevant engineering science or applied mathematics discipline. Preferably with experience in the application of structural analysis from first principles or in accordance with relevant standard
* Have experience delivering engineering analysis in an engineering company and / or engineering consultancy setting including managing projects or aspects of engineering projects
* Have strong technical knowledge and experience in solving problems with FEA including defining an approach model setup post processing verification and validation. This should include statics dynamics and frequency domain. This would ideally be in at least two of aerospace nuclear renewable energy oil & gas or defence sectors
* Have a working understanding of structural integrity topic areas such as fatigue creep and plasticity; as well as material behaviour.
* Ideally have knowledge of widely used analysis tool including ANSYS Abaqus NASTRAN or Calculix with a demonstrable ability to extend their capability using user functions where necessary
* Some proficiency in the in the use of programming languages such as Python MATLAB VBA C# or C / C would be an advantage
* Have strong verbal and written communication skills
* Are either already at or actively working toward Chartered Engineer (or equivalent) status
* Like a challenge are flexible thinkers and arent intimidated by unfamiliar problems
* Enjoy client and colleague interaction takes responsibility for delivery and wants the opportunity to work within a growing and dynamic engineering team
