Behaviour mentor

We are currently recruiting for a dedicated and resilient Behaviour Mentor to work within specialist provisions across the Northumberland area. Supporting students with SEND and SEMH additional needs. This is a full-time, term-time only role offering a rewarding opportunity to support young people both academically and emotionally within a structured specialist setting. Role Responsibilities Supporting students on a 1:1 and small group basis Assisting the class teacher with tailored learning activities Promoting positive behaviour and emotional regulation Creating a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment Requirements Willingness to support students with SEND and SEMH needs Minimum 24 months employment references with no large unexplained gaps Enhanced Child DBS on the Update Service or willingness to pay and apply for one Reliable, patient, and resilient approach This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to gain experience within specialist education and build a long-term career.
