Role Overview:
Job Title: Solutions Architect - Cards & Payments Domain
Location: London
Travel/Relocation/Remote: Hybrid
Good to have skills: TOGAF and the TOGAF Architecture Development Method (ADM), which provide guidelines and best practices for architects. The ADM is driven by requirements management, central to the process. The solution architect should have domain expertise and experience in designing solutions involving various payments, core, and card systems.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prior experience in the Cards and Payments domain, including cards issuance and authorization journeys.
* Manage challenging conversations effectively.
* Customer service experience.
* Understanding of payment processes.
Expectations:
* Knowledge of Payments, Card Issuing & Acquiring message and transaction flows, with experience integrating in-house applications with third-party Fintechs.
* Understanding of Card Issuing & Acquiring operations, gateways, ATMs, and Switch.
* Knowledge of ISO8583, MT, and MX messages.
* Experience defining API specifications for REST or Web Services.
* Understanding API & Interface governance, design standards, and principles.
* Ability to transform user journeys using latest technologies.
* Knowledge of Cloud deployments.
* Experience evaluating technology partners and defining KPIs.
* Managing solution lifecycle, technology watch, and developing proofs of concept for Payments & Cards systems.
