Senior EC&I Engineer (12 month contract, outside IR35)
Location: Glasgow (Hybrid – 3 days on site, 2 days remote)
Job Type: Contract, 12 month duration
A well‑established engineering firm specialising in the design and delivery of complex rotating equipment & handling systems is looking to hire a Senior EC&I Engineer for a long‑term outside IR35 contract. You’ll join a highly skilled team working on a strong pipeline of projects in the energy and industrial sectors.
Key Experience Sought:
* Proven EC&I engineering background within heavy industrial environments.
* Solid knowledge of MV motors, VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives).
* Experience with skid‑mounted/package units (instrument hook‑up, loop checks, cabling, glands, JBs).
* Familiarity with machine monitoring systems (e.g. Bently Nevada).
* Strong documentation and drawing skills (AutoCAD, P&IDs, loop diagrams, I/O lists, panel layouts, etc.).
Security Requirement: Due to the sensitive nature of the work, candidates must be British nationals, holding either a British passport or dual citizenship.
