Oakhurst has 3 vacancies for full time Residential Social Care Workers. We are a 4 bed specialist Children’s home in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire. You will join an amazing team, dedicated to making a real difference in the lives of young people.
Salary (including MFS): £31,524. Market Factor Supplement: £1,500. Type of vacancy: Permanent. Work pattern: Full Time. Hours per week: 37. Working Arrangements: Office Based. Job Location: Oakhurst, High Oakham Road, Mansfield, NG18 5AJ.
Responsibilities
* Work with children in a residential setting to meet their needs and support their development.
* Be committed and resilient, joining an experienced team to support new members.
* Work across a 24-hour service with a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays, on a 4-week rolling rota.
* Evidence responses to shortlisting criteria in depth when applying.
Qualifications and Experience
* Ideally NVQ3/Diploma Level 3 in Residential Childcare. If not, you will be required to undertake this qualification.
* At least 6 months of experience within Residential Child Care.
* Willingness to work shifts that include evenings, weekends and bank holidays; enhanced pay applies to these shifts.
